Our History
Vicom Trading is the continuation of a family business with several generations of experience in the naval and marine industry.
The founder
An engineer, a market need, and a network built over decades
Our story began with Eng. Guido Luis G. Comotto, an Italian immigrant and Naval and Mechanical Engineer who worked for years in Argentine shipyards, in both technical and production roles. In 1985 he founded a company with one clear purpose: the specialized supply of marine equipment and solutions for shipyards and shipowners.
Strong relationships with manufacturers in Korea and China grew into an international network of partnerships. Today we work with more than 30 specialized manufacturers and are a recognized supplier in the Argentine market.
